28 May 2007 – Wisdom’s Calling
Proverbs 7:5
You who are simple, gain prudence; you who are foolish, gain understanding.
In Proverb, I finally realized that wisdom do call of us, she called us whenever we go , and she will follow wherever we go with the person who seek for her and long for her. Wisdom will cause whose people is simple-minded to become better in reasoning; for obtuse people will have to gain the ability of understanding.
When wisdom calls out to us, she told us many of her characteristics, wisdom is more precious than rubies, diamonds, gold, silver, etc. Her value is uncountable that whoever gains her will reign and rules, even if the person is a king or a prince, or even an ordinary man. For it has been borne out far before the world began, He created heaven and earth with wisdom, wisdom originates from God, so she must have the likeness of God.
Wisdom only follows who are righteous, who use it with good purposes, if a wicked man wanted to gain wisdom to achieve what he wanted to achieve, he will gain folly at the end of the day instead of the wisdom he desired.
The wisdom we desired will make us different person as before, which is better than before. As it will make us to become more willing to accept others’ opinions to correct ourselves, we will keep improving ourselves when we behave such.
Proverbs 9:8-10 Do not say sharp words to a man of pride, or he will have hate for you; make them clear to a wise man, and you will be dear to him. Give teaching to a wise man, and he will become wiser; give training to an upright man, and his learning will be increased. The fear of the Lord is the start of wisdom, and the knowledge of the Holy One gives a wise mind
1. Love the Lord, and you will have His wisdom
2. Ask for it
3. Seek for it

in love, in sincerity
